Profit from Lean Publication by Ultriva Looks at Undertaking

Stickles emphasized that, “A Lean implementation involves a major culture change within the organization. Only when management fully embraces that change, can it be driven down to incorporate all parts of the organization. Senior management must be fully committed to the process and hold people accountable. Management commitment can give the project an initial push. However, without continuing involvement, people will revert back to their old ways of working. This is a very natural reaction especially if people have been working with the existing system for a long time and are very comfortable with that process.”
