Magline, Inc., the innovative lightweight route-distribution company, and Rotacaster, maker of the first multi-directional industrial wheel, announced an arrangement with exclusive rights to the “Self-Stabilizing” truck in the U.S. Magliner is at the forefront of developing products that address the unique material handling requirements from distribution centers to delivery; the Self-Stabilizer hand truck is the newest of innovations by Magline.
Andrea Horner, Marketing Manager for Magline, expressed pleasure about the new partnership, “We are excited to partner with Peter McKinnon and the entire Rotacaster team. Their creative prowess regarding workplace safety and ergonomics in the material handling sector is a welcome addition to the Magliner family of products.”
Peter McKinnon, Managing Director for Rotacaster expressed his excitement about the Magline partnership, “At Rotacaster we are extremely proud about our engagement with Magliner, the pioneer in innovative manual materials handling solutions. Rotacaster Wheel is extremely excited to be working with Magline toward continuing this leadership with the introduction of the self-stabilizing hand truck and other innovative solutions that have the potential to provide huge benefits in productivity, ergonomics, and safety for users, especially in the last 100 yard supply chain. We look forward to a close and productive partnership.”
The Rotacaster is the only multi-directional wheel technology developed primarily as an industrial and commercial floor wheel. The fixed orientations of the main wheel allows forward and reverse movement without fighting a swivel caster offset, while the peripheral rollers facilitate turning, rotational, lateral and diagonal movement. When navigating turns this also eliminates all skipping associated with fixed wheels.
Magliner is the leader in hand trucks worldwide and is looking to expand the strong dealer base in various regions domestically, as well as internationally.
